We’re excited to reveal the beautiful cover of our forthcoming title, Two Fearsome Fairy Tales from France, elegantly retold by Adele Geras and lavishly illustrated by Fiona McDonald.

The book, which features classic scary, magical French tales, Beauty and the Beast and Bluebeard, will be out in shops in late April. It’s the first of our books to be published in hardcover, and it looks absolutely fabulous! More soon.

If you buy the CD from our Bandcamp store, you get the digital version bundled in free as well.

Narrated by the author herself, with atmospheric music by Bevis Masson-Leach, it’s a lovely, engaging listen for young–and not so young–readers!

The new year has started and we are already very busy. Some wonderful new titles and projects coming up this year which you’ll soon hear more about!

But first up is the fabulous audio book of Two Tales of Twins from Ancient Greece and Rome, and in exciting news, it’s engagingly narrated by the author herself, Ursula Dubosarsky, and featuring fantastic atmospheric music by Bevis Masson-Leach. It’s the first of three events to celebrate the release of Once Upon A Christmas, and attracted a big and enthusiastic crowd! Big thanks go from Christmas Press to the authors who came and read their work, and share in the celebration, and to Karen Johnson, Children’s Librarian, and her team for a fabulous time had by all!
